The professor tells her students about two techniques of shot that director use to strengthen feelings or to add more significance to a scene. The first example given is queen of England. If they use low angle shot, we can see queen is looking down on her subjects. The professor mentions that low angle shot is used when admiring a powerful person or at least someone very important. The professor describes high angle shot is used when expresses utter hopelessness. For example, a man stranded in desert is feeling no hope of his situation.
